Washcloth of the Month: February
Hugs & Kisses
As a reminder each month in 2022 I will be releasing a different washcloth pattern featuring fun design elements to try, as well as colors that represent the mood of the month.
These projects check so many boxes:
Small & portable
Super interesting! The pattern & colors will change each month
Easy way to learn or improve a skill on a small scale like lace or cables
Great palette cleanser between larger more complicated patterns or projects
Practical & versatile; at the end of the year, you will have 12 or more washcloths that can be used from the bathroom to the kitchen and everywhere in between.

February Washcloth: Hugs & Kisses
For February I chose a bold bright pink yarn in a solid to highlight the stitches & paired it with a variegated pink to showcase the pattern on a non-solid yarn.
I chose to feature the XOXO cable pattern in three columns on a background of reverse stockinette stitch. Even if Valentine's Day is not your thing, the Hugs & Kisses pattern is still a good reminder that we could all use a little more hugs & kisses in our life!
Knitting cables can seem challenging but this pattern is a super simple way to learn how to knit them. Not only that, it's a great way to practice knitting without a cable needle. Easy enough for a beginner but equally challenging for a seasoned knitter.

1 skein for each color, or 2 skeins of the same color will make 3 washcloths
